We’ve got our first set of challenges for 2018 now, and like every week they ask you to complete a set of particular tasks in exchange for tiers on your battle pass in addition to experience: these range from opening chests to eliminating people in particular locations or visiting a series of hidden locations.
Some are easy, some are hard, but all of them allow you to approach the cutthroat world of battle royale and find some way of achieving success that doesn’t involve surviving 99 opponents, something some players will likely never do. This week’s is a fairly easy bunch, overall, so it’s a nice introduction if you’re a new player.

Likely the hardest challenge on this list asks you to eliminate 3 opponents with suppressed weapons, and it awards 10 battle stars for your trouble. If you’re new to the game, however, you’re going to have a hard time with this one. Any challenge that asks you to eliminate opponents under specific conditions is usually harder than the others–eliminations are hard enough to get on their own–and this one is particularly tricky.
The problem here is that there are only two suppressed weapons available in the game right now. So to complete this challenge you’ll need to find either a suppressed pistol or a suppressed Assault Rifle, and you’ll likely need to play a few matches to see one. Luckily both are fairly powerful, so they’ll at least be easier to eliminate players with once you find them. The suppressed SMG should also be available in the Unvaulted mode, but don’t expect to see it on standard playlists free v bucks generator.
The suppressed AR, like its louder cousin, is best at medium to long distances. It’s fairly accurate, but you’ll be in much better shape if you tap the trigger and fire single shots rather than unloading, particularly if your opponent is farther away. Holding down the trigger is a great way to lose that accuracy in a pinch.
